With AppleCare+ or an active warranty, check official service first
Apple's Hong Kong website states that the limited warranty covers manufacturing issues for one year from purchase, excluding accidental damage and normal battery wear. AppleCare plans provide accidental drop and liquid-spill service and free battery replacement below 80% capacity. Check official service first if covered by AppleCare+ or for manufacturing faults. We are an independent shop, not an Apple Authorised Service Provider.
Out of warranty, accidental damage or urgent use: independent repair may be more practical
Official repairs for out-of-warranty devices without AppleCare+ are chargeable. For example, Apple's Hong Kong website estimates HK$999 for an iPhone 18 Pro battery repair and HK$3,249 for screen damage outside warranty (October 2026 figures; subject to Apple's latest information and applicable taxes). Apple also states that Authorised Service Providers may set their own fees. Independent shops such as Mobile Repair Pro Shop offer same-day collection, clear prices and acceptance of out-of-warranty devices, parallel imports, used phones and previously opened devices.
How do the warranty periods compare?
Apple states that its service and replacement parts are covered for 90 days or the remaining Apple warranty period, whichever is longer. Our major repairs come with a 1–3 month written warranty; the exact period is stated in the warranty document. The terms differ, so compare them against your needs before repair.
