Part 1

Questions about repair times, fees and appointments

Most iPhone screen replacement and Battery replacement completed within 20–30 minutes after the free inspection, while you wait. iPad and Samsung Most repairs completed within 1 hour; Charging port, Data backup and Software problems Usually 30 minutes to 1 hour; Liquid-damage recovery From 1 hour to several days, depending on damage; MacBook Board-level repairs take longer.

Appointments are not essential; visit Shop G81B, G/F, Sin Tat Plaza, Mong Kok. WhatsApp +852 9839 0831 with your model and fault first so we can prepare parts and reduce waiting time.

Our inspection is free. The technician identifies the fault and explains the repair plan and cost. You can hear the quote before deciding whether to proceed.

We confirm the quote after inspection and start with your approval. If hidden issues require additional work, we ask first and never add charges without confirmation. To learn more, see Our repair commitments.

Repair prices depend on brand, model, damaged parts and part type. For example, replacing only outer glass differs in cost from a full display assembly. For an accurate quote, WhatsApp the model and fault photos or visit for a free inspection.

Send the brand and model, such as iPhone 16 Pro or Galaxy S25, symptoms, what happened (including drops or liquid exposure) and photos. Clear details improve the estimate. You can also use Online enquiry form.

Yes. Most screen and battery replacements take 20–30 minutes, so you can wait and collect the device without leaving it. Liquid-damage recovery and logic board repairs take longer; the technician explains the time required beforehand.

Yes. We provide a free inspection and quote based on actual condition for out-of-warranty devices, parallel imports, used phones and devices opened elsewhere. We do not reject a device simply because its warranty has expired.

Part 2

Phone repair warranty, parts and official-service questions

Major repairs, such as screen and battery replacement, include a 1–3 month written warranty; the exact period is stated in the warranty document. If a component itself fails during that period, excluding user-caused damage, bring the document back for a free recheck or follow-up.

No. Written warranties generally cover faults in the part itself, not subsequent drops, crushing or liquid exposure. Ask the technician to clarify coverage before signing for collection.

We use quality-checked parts made to original specifications, not poor-quality parts of unknown origin. The technician explains the part type before repair so you can make an informed choice. See Parts quality explained.

The two differ noticeably in colour accuracy, brightness, touch sensitivity and power consumption. Ask which display type will be used, then decide according to your budget and use. See iPhone screen replacement.

No. We are an independent phone repair shop. Apple states that only repairs carried out by Apple or an Apple Authorised Service Provider are covered by the Apple limited warranty and AppleCare plans. If your device has warranty or AppleCare+ coverage for the fault, check official service first. For a comparison, see Official repairs versus our shop.

Apple states that its limited warranty covers manufacturing faults for one year, excluding accidental damage and normal battery wear. A cracked screen after a drop or an ageing battery generally requires a paid repair.

Apple states that Parts and Service History in iOS Settings records repairs to most major components, such as the battery and display. If this matters to you, tell the technician before repair and we will explain the available parts options.

Part 3

iPhone screen, battery and repair questions

Most iPhone screen replacements take 20–30 minutes after the free inspection while you wait. See iPhone display replacement.

Professional replacement using quality parts generally does not affect Face ID or True Tone. We test Face ID unlocking, True Tone, touch, brightness and colour on site before collection and confirm they work.

Not necessarily. The technician checks the display panel. If display and touch work normally, only the outer glass may need attention. Black spots, green lines or touch failure usually require a full display assembly.

Green lines, black spots, a white or distorted screen or touch failure usually involve the display assembly, but flex cables or the board may also be responsible. Start with a free inspection before deciding on screen replacement.

Apple states that iPhone 14 and earlier batteries are designed to retain around 80% of original capacity after 500 complete cycles, versus 1000 for iPhone 15 models. Consider replacement if maximum capacity falls below 80%, shutdowns occur or runtime is noticeably shorter. Check Settings → Battery → Battery Health & Charging. See iPhone Battery Replacement.

If battery ageing has triggered performance management, a healthy replacement generally improves speed and smoothness, restores runtime and resolves battery-related unexpected shutdowns.

Failure to turn on may involve the battery, charging port, logic board or system, or a short circuit after liquid exposure. If it has not been wet, try charging with a genuine cable for a while. If still unresponsive, bring it in for a free inspection; do not open it yourself. See iPhone Repair.

We repair the iPhone 12 series through to the latest models. Parts for new models, including the foldable iPhone Duo, depend on availability; older models can also be discussed. WhatsApp your model first to confirm stock.

Part 4

Phone liquid damage repair questions

Switch off immediately, do not keep trying to restart or charge, dry the outside and have a technician inspect the logic board promptly. Liquid causes short circuits and ongoing contact corrosion; delay reduces the chance of saving the device and data. See Phone liquid damage repair.

Not recommended. Apple advises against putting an iPhone in rice because small particles may damage it. A hairdryer or other external heat is also discouraged: heat may drive moisture deeper into the circuits or deform components.

Apple advises immediately unplugging the charging cable, gently tapping the iPhone against your palm with the connector down, and leaving it somewhere dry and ventilated. Retry charging after at least 30 minutes; if the alert persists, allow up to a day. Qi wireless charging is possible if the back is dry. If every Apple cable triggers the alert, repair may be needed. See Charging Port Repair.

No. IP68 is based on controlled laboratory testing to IEC 60529. Apple states that splash, water and dust resistance are not permanent and may decline with normal wear. Liquid damage is not covered by the warranty.

Apple states that liquid damage is excluded from its one-year limited warranty, and iPhone liquid contact indicators turn red when wet. We open and assess the actual damage and do not reject devices simply because they got wet.

Success depends on time before repair, liquid type (fresh water is less risky; seawater, pool water and sugary liquids corrode faster), whether startup or charging was attempted, and the model's construction. We do our best and explain the situation honestly, without guaranteeing success.

From 1 hour to several days, depending on damage. Once the device starts, we prioritise backing up important data. See Data recovery.

Part 5

Samsung and Google Pixel repair questions

Most Samsung models use under-display fingerprint recognition, so the sensing layer needs careful handling during replacement. We test fingerprint unlocking, camera focus and ambient light sensing on site after repair and confirm they work before collection. See Samsung Repair.

Burn-in results from AMOLED ageing and is a panel characteristic. Once established, it usually cannot be reversed through software; the display must be replaced. Lower brightness, automatic screen-off and avoiding prolonged static images can help delay it.

Yes, but the inner-screen protective film is part of a foldable's structure and should not be peeled off yourself. Inner-display and hinge repairs require specialist tools and experience. Tell us the model and generation first; the technician will inspect to confirm feasibility and parts availability.

Samsung Knox has a security fuse that may be permanently triggered by unauthorised system or firmware modifications. Hardware-only repairs, such as screen or battery replacement, normally do not change the system, but confirm this with the technician beforehand.

Samsung Galaxy offers Maintenance mode. It prevents access to photos, messages, accounts and other personal data and permits only preinstalled apps. Available on Galaxy devices with Android 13 or later, depending on the model, it requires a screen lock and can be enabled under Settings → Battery and device care. Samsung recommends backing up first.

Yes. We handle Pixel screen damage, ageing batteries, charging faults and liquid damage. Most repairs take under 1 hour, followed by fingerprint unlocking and other sensor tests. See Google Pixel Repair.

Part 6

iPad and MacBook repair questions

Do not delay. Cracks can spread, glass fragments may scratch fingers or Apple Pencil tips, and dust or moisture can enter the display layer and eventually cause display faults. Arrange replacement promptly. See iPad Repair.

Professional replacement preserves the original touch flex cables and sensing layer, so Apple Pencil writing and pairing are generally unaffected. We test writing and pairing before collection. iPad screen replacement usually takes under 1 hour, depending on the model.

Not recommended. A swollen battery is a safety concern and may lift the trackpad or keyboard. Stop using it and replace the battery promptly. See MacBook Repair.

It depends on liquid damage severity. Switch off, unplug power, do not restart and seek repair promptly. Early internal inspection and board cleaning improve recovery chances. See Liquid damage repair.

Part 7

Questions about data, privacy and repair preparation

Screen, battery and charging port repairs normally do not erase data. Logic board repair, liquid-damage recovery or system restoration may affect it. The technician explains the risks in advance and recommends a backup. We also offer Data backup and recovery services.

Back up first, make sure you know your Apple ID or Google Account password, remove the case and screen protector, and note what happened. For official Apple service, Apple's guidance says to turn off Find My on iOS 26 or earlier, or enable Prepare for Repair or Trade In in Find My on iOS 27 or later. For more preparation tips, see Phone repair guide.

It depends on board damage; chances are better if it is not completely damaged. We assess feasibility, use professional tools to attempt access and report results honestly. Success is not guaranteed.

It depends on the device and time since deletion; acting sooner improves the chances. iPhone users can first check Recently Deleted in Photos.

We can back up to your own device or help upload to cloud storage, confirming that the data is complete before handover.

It depends on the device and account links. We assess the available options first. The phone must belong to you, and you must cooperate with the relevant account information. See Software Troubleshooting.

Part 8

Phone charging ports and software problems

Not necessarily. Try another cable and charger first. Dust or corrosion in the port can often be cleaned away; only a damaged flex cable needs replacing. We inspect before deciding on cleaning or replacement, usually taking 30 minutes to 1 hour. See Charging Port Repair.

Avoid repeated force restarts, which may worsen the problem. Bring the device for software diagnosis. Some methods, such as system restoration, may affect data; the technician explains this and recommends a backup first. Software repair usually takes 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Not necessarily. Crashes and slow responses are often software or storage issues that do not need new parts. Heat and unexpected shutdowns may indicate an ageing battery. The technician distinguishes software from hardware faults before recommending a solution. See Software Troubleshooting and iPhone Battery Replacement.
